The hours in between school ending and parents returning home from work are crucial hours in the life of a child. Afterschool programs provide students the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning, interact with their peers, work under the care and supervision of supportive mentors, build on lessons learned during the school day and more.

ORANGE COUNTY BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL

The Y offers a positive environment for each student before and after the school bell rings!
When your child attends a session before or after school, they'll engage in areas like:

• Sports
• Creative and culinary arts
• Team building
• Tech
• Other fun activities

We have a variety of unique clubs for students, and our Y team members are here to help your child succeed academically and provide a fun, safe environment outside of the classroom.

The YMCA of Central Florida will provide reasonable accommodation to students with disabilities, provided these accommodations do not pose an undue hardship on the organization or jeopardize the safety of other students or employees. Management reserves the right to make all program-related decisions on reasonable accommodations.

BEFORE SCHOOL

Before School Care is available at the start of the school year (August 11, 2025).
Care will take place from 7:00 am – 9:00 am in the morning.

AFTER SCHOOL ZONE

After School Zone is funded by a grant from the Orange County Government.
There is no charge for youth to attend.
The program takes place from the last bell to 6:00 pm.
