Student Schedules

As we continue to balance class sizes and ensure that all students are placed in the appropriate courses, some students may receive schedule changes throughout this upcoming week.  Please check Skyward regularly for the most up-to-date schedule information. If a schedule change occurs, an updated schedule will also be provided to your child during their 1st period class.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the best placement for all students.
Newsletter Highlights
  • Teacher & Support Person of the Year: Karen Ager was named Teacher of the Year, and Aroon Acharekar was recognized as Support Person of the Year.
  • Back-to-School SAC & PTSO Meetings: The Back to School SAC meeting is scheduled for August 27 at 5 PM in the Media Center. Agenda includes Sunshine Law, OCPS Code of Conduct, and the SAC Roster Election Process. The PTSO General Meeting follows at 5:40 PM.
  • Fall Book Fair: Scheduled for September 14–18 in the Media Center during morning, lunch, or class time.
  • Arrival & Dismissal Rules: Drivers must keep the front sidewalk and fire lane clear and not pull forward until 9:00 AM for morning arrival or 4:00 PM for afternoon dismissal. Supervision starts at 9:00 AM; students arriving earlier must check into the Media Center via YMCA BSP.
  • Micro-mobility Policy: Elementary and middle school students are prohibited from operating motorized devices (electric bikes/scooters, hoverboards, one-wheeled devices) on school property. Non-motorized bikes, scooters, and skateboards are permitted but must be walked on campus and stored in bike racks.
  • Student IDs: Students are required to wear school-issued IDs daily; temporary IDs must be obtained before class and turned in at the end of the day.
  • Severe Weather Protocol: Rainy-day dismissal is enforced during severe weather. In the event of severe weather, we encourage parents to wait in vehicles rather than standing outside, and students will be released once weather clears.
  • Extracurricular Programs:
    • PAL Basketball: Runs Thursday, August 27 through October 1 for grades 6–8 ($7 total).
    • Astronomy Club: Meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month through the YMCA.
    • YMCA Programs: Offers Before School ($30/week + $16 registration) and After School Zone program
